"Business After Hours" Host Application Form
We welcome your interest in hosting one of our chamber socials. The Business After Hours program of the Chester Municipal Chamber of Commerce serves two purposes:
- It allows the Host to showcase its business, services and facilities to the business community - It offers Chamber members the chance to meet one another and network in a casual, relaxed atmosphere.
The following provisions and guidelines have been established to assist in the positive outcome of the Business After Hours program:
1. The host(s) must be an active Chamber member in good standing. The Business After Hours event may be co-hosted by 2 or more Chamber members with the permission of the chamber.
2. The Chamber is responsible for marketing the Business After Hours event via e-mail and or website.
3. The space where the Business After Hours is planned should accommodate an ample number of people.
4. The parking area should be designated adequate and safe.
5. If an outdoor Business After Hours is planned, an alternate plan must be developed in case of bad weather.
6. Door prizes are optional. The welcome and remarks will begin at approximately at 5:45 -6:00. If there are door prizes, drawings for the prizes will follow.
7. The Business After Hours is usually held on Tuesdays from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. but other days of the week can discussed.
8. Easy to handle finger foods or hors d'oeuvres are recommended. It is very important to have enough food and beverages. Recommended beverages include tea & coffee, wine, soft drinks or punch for events.
9. A Chamber staff will handle registration, which includes nametags and collection of business cards for draw.
